The upper bit feels just like swimwear, and is pretty breathable through clothing. I wouldn’t say that it’s super slimming, but the tension does hold my tummy in a bit more than usual and the lines are not noticeable. I like how far up the upper bit goes; it never feels like I have too many open layers when I wear a t-shirt and pants. The butt padding has great shape, and adds a lot of upward volume. My main complaint is that the bottom of the pads can seem a little awkward in non-tight-fitting bottoms, flaring out a bit and giving me a bit of a case of quad-cheek.
When wearing slender-fitting pants, it works great! I probably wouldn’t wear it with thinner dresses, though. It also only comes in black, so people who wear mostly thin, light clothing might want to steer clear.
As with all padding, it does get a little warm. I have an active job and only wear it on days that I won’t be moving too much extra. It also is pretty easy to clean. Overall, great product, especially for the price. I’ll probably buy a second one.
